You who are courageous, builders of the kingdom! You who are fashioned in God’s image! You who shine with God’s light! You who are Children of God! You who are beautiful, precious souls! Yes, YOU! Everyone one of you!
Our culture tries to tell us that we are not good enough, or not worthy, or not perfect… or the flip side: that we are SO worthy, that we should mindlessly indulge our whims and desires because we “are worth it.” But being precious in God’s sight is different — it is a humble pride, it is a sacred grounded-ness, it is courageous gentleness, it is speaking the truth in love. It is our calling!
