Bread and Roses in Lawrence is asking for your donations to keeping Bread and Roses up and running - offering lifesaving resources to those who need it, when they need it most.

Paricipate in your Care Circles! West Parish has formed Care Circles of 8 - 20 individuals who meet on a regular basis to share concerns, hopes and joys! Throughout the year, Care Circles help others with meals, rides, sending cards and calling on each other. If you are not sure of what Care Circle you are a member of - contact John or the Church Office.

Donate clothing for children and teens.Catie's Closet mission is to improve school attendance by providing clothing and toiletries to children in need - at their schools.
Support Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. The Greater Lawrence Boys and Girls Club provides to-go dinners for kids of all ages 4:30-6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Donate to support this organization which means so much to West Parish.
Horizons for Homeless Children in Lawrence works tirelessly to help alleviate the trauma and stress of homelessness on both children and their families by providing high-quality early education, food and vital opportunities for play and more. They are in need of food, clothing and other necessities to support families in their shelters.
Uncommon Threads. Empower women through the clothes in your closet. Your beautiful clothes will give low-income women the tools to build self-esteem and self worth.
Emmaus House. Helps more than 35,000 people out of homelessness and toward self-sufficiency. Donate funds or food and personal items.
Remember our seniors who may be isolated in their homes or in retirement homes. Send a card, note or drawing to let you know you are thinking of them! West Parish Seniors are in Marland Place, Edgewood, Prescott House, and Brooksby Village - but any note would be wonderful!
