West Parish works to serve local, national and international communities in need!
We actively participate in addressing local, national and international humanitarian needs. We offer a variety of opportunities for participation including Neighbors in Need, Lazarus House, ABC House and more!
We are part of a sustainability initiative to become carbon neutral. Efforts including the recent installation of solar panels on the roof of our Fellowship Hall. We have even more green initiatives planned!

Join us in recycling and donating your clothes in our Planet Aid collection book at the back of the church! These donations enable Planet Aid to keep clothing out of landfills, and fund donation projects all over the world!
The Permaculture Garden builds community and the faith that we are called to partner with God in caring for the earth, while planting seeds to nurture body, mind and spirit.
Building on the idea of knitting prayers and peace into shawls, numerous warm shawls are knitted each year and lovingly donated to Merrimack Valley Hospice and members and friends of the church.
Samaritans Suicide Prevention
Founded by long-time West Parish members, the Samaritans of Merrimack Valley, works to reduce the incidence of suicide and educate the community. West Parish remains committed to this organization and its mission today.
Neighbors in Need
Neighbors in Need feeds impoverished families of Greater Lawrence. They give food to those in need without judgment, respecting the dignity of each individual. Join us in supporting them thru weekly and holiday food collections!
Based on a strong belief that economic diversity is an important contributor to vital and livable communities, join us in supporting Andover Community Trust, which develops affordable homes in the Andover community.
