Join us this Sunday

Alas, summer is over!  Although the autumnal equinox isn't until September 22, you know what I mean: the nights are cool.  Some maple trees have a spot of bight red leaves. T he school buses are making their rounds. Vacations are over.  Pumpkin spice lattes have returned. It might not be technically fall, but it's certainly culturally fall.

Which might bring some sadness, but hope it also brings excitement. Because at West Parish we are about to kick off the year together!  Sunday School begins this Sunday!  We are back in the sanctuary!  Groups like Women's Evening Circle and Knit Night and Youth Group and choir are back to their regular cadence.  We continue to do our good work: harvesting vegetables, sending cards, serving food, welcoming young people, replanting bushes, giving rides, saying prayers, advocating for justice.

Join us this Sunday!  Be welcomed in where you belong and where you are loved.  Be reminded of what truly matters and where your deepest longings are.  Be rooted in what is eternal and holy.  What a privilege and blessing to be the church!!
